For about a week there I wanted to burn my whole business to the ground. I suddenly questioned my purpose, my strategy, my right to show up and instead comparison, vanity metric lack and imposter syndrome reared their ugly heads.
I didn’t act on this in part because when I stopped and felt into myself and my body as to where it was coming from, it was coming from head, flawed logic and ego not from my inner authority, gut instinct and intuition.
The weeks and days before menstruation can highlight everything that is worrying you at a surface level and make it seem a whole lot worse than it actually is so it does pay to recognise that the intensity of these feels will generally pass when you shift over into your new cycle.
It can be similar to the feels after a full moon if you haven’t met the goals that were set around the new moon (for those that do intention setting by the moon).
Sometimes though the destroy it all feels are totally valid and are related to stuff that is definately out of resonance - the brighter side of being our own worst critic in the last phase of our cycle is that we can also see with unapologetic clarity what genuinely gets to go.
After a bit of soul searching or journaling, you’ll be able to see when something connects to misalignment that is present (perhaps with less potency) throughout your entire cycle.
If this is the case then the best choice might be to follow your inner wild woman, throw caution to the wind and light a match. Or maybe, if you’re wary of acting too brashly, you make a commitment to your knowing to utilise the next three phases of your new cycle to take appropriate action … with the greater degree of calm that they provide.
