“I hope I make more ‘mistakes’ in the season ahead. I want to be trying, failing upward and reaching beyond what I can currently do. daily. As opposed to sitting in perfect stillness doing fuck all.”
From my journaling this morning after having a brief moment of questioning on whether or not my business plans and content was a bit pretentious/showy.
I suddenly had a wave of uncertainty so I stopped and felt into it and then I thought ‘So what?!’.
I’d rather look back on this current moment in time and think ‘OMG haha, I was def in ego there and could have done things in this other way’ than look back and think ‘Wow. I literally just took that time and threw it in the trash because I was afraid of doing something wrong’.
Let’s normalise putting ourselves out there and making a go of it regardless of how it may be perceived.
Because know this - you will never be judged harsher than those that fear you, those that are jealous/triggered by you and, your own critic that will occasionally come out to play.
And we aren’t doing our thing for them, are we?
I know I’m not called to serve those, in what I do, who aren’t on the precipice of wanting to change their lives and aren’t excited about remapping their minds and motivation and using their hormones and cycle as a source of power.
The people that would sit back like my momentary self doubt and think ‘Hrmmmm. She’s full of herself. Who does she think she is? She should quiet down a little’.
I’m not here for them. And you shouldn’t be either.
Do your thing. Put yourself out there for those that will drink up your content and celebrate you and your mistakes. Because the only way you’ll please everyone and do things perfectly is if you never do anything at all and miss your take completely.
I’d rather have people appalled at me than patting me on the head and pleased with my nothingness.
Whose with me?
