When you have limited time - it can feel impossible to get everything done for your side hustle or passion project.
When you have infinite time - it can still feel impossible to get everything done.
I’ve gone from 7 hours a week on This Jessa Lewis to unlimited hours and to be honest - it feels overwhelming.
There is literally SO much I could do in each moment and I should now be able to do EVERYTHING right? Coz I should have the time …
Except we’re never able to do everything because as business owners and messengers there’s always a million more things that can be completed as soon as one list is done. It’s the nature of the beast. And that’s not a bad thing - it just is.
So I’m choosing to write my list and keep doing the same practice that served me when I was using scraps of time and when time was always ticking down.
I’m going to look at the most important things for my day as well as what gives me and my business the most energy and concentrate on those. Around this I’m going to serve my physical and spiritual health and mindset. Then I’ll do all the other random things. And I’m going to choose fun and playfulness to surround everything.
It’s very easy to let an abundance of choices, options and time to stop you. It’s very easy to let the idea of all the things to restrict you rather than expand you. However, you always have the option to reframe and to ask yourself what is the most high vibrational thing from that list that will set you straight for the rest of the day and serve your tribe.
For me - that’s journaling and then content creation such as writing this post. Once I do that, my muscles relax, my anxiety dissipates and I can think straight.
Work out what your happy trigger is and then purposely pursue it as the first act of each day. You can’t go wrong.
