Metals, Trace Minerals, Hormones and Your Mental Health
Updated: Dec 14, 2021
I read an article that said something like 50% of those in psychiatric care in America had high metal levels in their system which can be a very factor in contributing to psychotic breaks, schizophrenia, anxiety and more.
There are metals in our water, foods, beauty products, kitchenware and homes and, many people start with prenatal exposure.
When you are zinc and B12 deficient which can easily happen due to diet or genetic predisposition, you are more likely to have anxiety, depression, brain fog, memory issues and more.
If you're a womb owner and are too stressed and producing too much cortisol you are more likely to end up with progesterone deficiencies - a hormone that helps you balance your moods when you are PMSing amongst other things. And, if your liver is too clogged up dealing with toxins, you are likely to not flush out excess estrogen which can be linked to fatigue, foggy thinking, weight gain, more intense period pain, headaches etc.
The list goes on.
It is very easy to end up having imbalances that then present with invisible or easy to dismiss physical symptoms and/or mental and emotional symptoms including those which affect having the energetic motivation to follow your passions.
Do not disregard your gifts and ability to change the world just because you aren't vibing high like others right now.
The key to your up level might not be all about changing your mindset, dealing with past trauma or shadow work. Though I think we ALL still need to do these even if they're not the main contenders.
The key might be in looking at and tweaking your cycle, listening to your body and your design more and, rebalancing your beautiful self.
