Sometimes you just need a really good meditation 🧘♀️ Sometimes you need to dance, move, get barefoot, scream, walk, run, have coffee, sit in silence or stare into nature.
When you cannot seem to focus into creating your content or writing - what do you do? This is a question I posed in a FB LIVE I did this morning as I sat cross legged next to my neighbourhood lake after taking measures to shift into focus myself.⠀
It’s something that comes up for most creators and can come up differently from person to person.⠀
Whilst we CAN choose to do XYZ or choose not to regardless, we can also choose to take additional steps first to allow flow to come back into the way in which we do take action. Because if we don’t and we just FORRCCCEEE then it often takes a million times longer. Plus it doesn’t feel good.⠀
And we should always allow for what feels good, feels delicious and allows for a bit of good ol’ fun.
Today, I could have stayed inside, surrounded by the mess that my house is in and tried to extract today’s post when my head and concentration was off in the clouds and in comparison land. Instead, I journaled, realised some hard truths about myself, walked, caffeinated, soaked in nature, did an 8 min meditation, live-streamed and then allowed this lesson to pour out.
And bonus - I’m in a better mood now too. Next up, imma make a TikTok video of cleaning the house and use that as future content haha.
