Journaling Prompts
What needs to be said?
Whenever I’m unsure or feeling blocked or just seeking a jumping off point with my journaling or writing, I ask myself a series of questions:
What needs to be said?
What needs to be heard?
What do I need?
Why do I feel like this?
Where do I get to meet myself?
What can I do?
Variations on the same theme really but they do help to unpack different layers of surface based responses that may be being initially used to deflect from genuine issues or undertones.
When you’re next feeling stopped, ask yourself these same ones or whichever specific one jumps out to you and let me know how you go!
As to whether or not you use these to reflect on your inner dialogue or whether you use them to prompt you into action with your purpose and messaging - that’s up to you. Just set your intentions for what needs to come out of your pondering and watch as it all flows out.
For myself today, I just felt called to share this practice of mine and not a whole lot more so I trust it serves those that need to hear it!
